Well, here it is again...election year! Time for American citizens to prepare to enter the voting polls and cast their votes. But wait...is there really a reason to make the effort? There are several reasons why most Americans will simply stay home and hope that something more interesting is on the talking billboard on election night. And who can blame them? We haven't had a constitutional government in decades, perhaps even the last century. I received this message in an email today and was asked to share it on the Front Page. I thought about it for a moment and agreed with our neighbor...there's no better time to remind every American citizen getting ready to "choose" their favorite candidate for President about the dedication, backbone and contributions of what a true representative of the People looks like, than right now!!
Measure your choice for President, Congressional Representative, or local leadership up to this type of representative of the People. Our country was built on the foundation of citizens of integrity who understood the guile of business men and women who put profit before People. They who are the "haves" will spare no expense in Research & Development, Product Branding and Double-speak to confound the human brain and manipulate the American spirit to meet their own ends. Where are we today District 49 citizens, community members, family, friends and neighbors...let's do a reality check...economically speaking, where are we today? Is your current representation bringing jobs to your district, working on the economic crisis that brings Americans to their knees financially every day? Does your current representation solicit for the Will of the People in their District by reaching out daily about what is affecting the livlihood of each of us? How has your representative voted on issues that directly affect your paycheck and your daily lives?
I've got a few answers to these questions I'll be sharing with our community in the coming months. I hope the answers will help our citizens when they get ready to vote in this upcoming election year. This is a billboard posted on the I-70 in Missouri...between Kansas City and St. Louis maybe? I just love that "show-me" state. Did you know I was born there? I think they mean business...what do you think At the very least, they don't appear happy with what's going on in Washington and if the press won't cover them...I guess a billboard will do ;-)

I really love getting requests from folks that live in our District 49 community...it let's me know someone's out there paying attention and really cares about their family, friends and neighbors!
The latest request received is a response from our "Blog" page. It's from a gentleman that feels the reason Mr. Issa is still our Congressional "representative" in District 49 is that the people he talks to, like those at his neighborhood Lodge group meetings, have a misconception about what's going on in Washington and how Mr. Issa should be working to represent our District 49 interests while he's working for us there. This concerned citizen has asked me to help in the education process by sharing links to YouTube vignettes about the Federal Reserve (affectionately referred to as "The FED" in Washington circles), and how money works on the national level. He hopes the information in these clips will help shed some light on how our government works with the financial sector, and how that relationship affects us here at home. Contained herein are answers to questions from the "horse's mouth" so to speak. Here goes...enjoy District 49...
